@Riot Jungle Changes coming in 4.21
Alright let me start off by saying this is not a QQ thread of any sort nor is the attitude behind what I am about to write, I just want to understand.
So lets begin with the current state of the jungle, when making the new jungle you guys did deliver on a "survival of the fittest" theme with the jungle creeps having more HP/DPS. Granted some players are still struggling to keep their champions health above 40% and not back before doing a full clear, anyways the jungle as it is currently is fine, however the poison armor from Gromp and the heavy hands from Krugs need to be tweaked so that both buffs give equal benefits to champions in general not as they are currently where Heavy Hands benefits Attack Speed junglers and Poison Armor is only beneficial when clear the Razorbeaks. What you guys could do to improve the equality of the camp buffs I have no idea, but I am pretty sure if you ask around in the Boards here many players will give you honest opinion with some of them being backed by statistics they have collected. Next lets move onto champions who exceed in the jungle and those who are just making it by because they itemize to adapt. I understand that champions such as Warwick, Xin Zhao, and others who have innate sustain should be well off in the jungle, but with some of the changes going towards the jungle and the machete customizations it seems that you (as a department) are not looking at the full picture and instead just narrowing your vision on a certain (Warwick) aspect. I feel, like most other seasoned junglers, that some changes are a bit overkill and somewhat unnecessary since they are focused towards a single champion. Changes to the devourer enchantment are a bit overkill since if you believe that we can stack it as fast as you assume, then that means we are doing full jungle rotations every game we play when the stacks on it are 60+,but the thing is not everybody has access to a full jungle every game and those 60 stacks only help for the lategame teamfights where damage does matter. Going from 50 to 25 magic damage will hurt clear speeds of junglers who need the attack speed and damage that devourer provides, if you want to nerf the damage then do what was done with feral flare and make it so that only 2/3rds of the stacks on devourer is counted when the situation is PvP and all stacks are counted when it's PvE, this will damper Warwicks ability to just blow-up targets with Devourer. Next up for the jungle changes is the Rangers Trailblazer, I can tell you the reason why it is the prefered upgrade compared to others is because that it gives us the 40 second smite that we as a playerbase still are accustomed to and the aoe stun/heal allows for us to retain our jungler pools since not every champion can have innate sustain in their kit. So I suggest that instead of nerfing Rangers Trailblazer, Riot actually listen to the jungle community this time and buff the other machete upgrades so that they do not pale in comparison to Rangers. I can understand that Riot employee's don't have enough time to play the game they are developing as much as any normal person but we as a community feel that you guys are collecting data from a select group and emiting the rest of the data, so I ask that you guys do us some justice and re-think about some changes before actually implementing them. Finally I would like to say thank you to whichever Riot employee's look and comment on this post.
