Elise spider E?

Glowshtick··1 votes·595 views

Having this very difficult situation when I click an enemy or a neutral monster and use elise's e; elise automatically repels onto her target. This was pretty awkward when a kayle and I were 1v1'ing late game, and I tried to stall her ult out with my spider e. It just plopped my right in front of her during her invulnerability. Is there a way I can fix this?

Could very easily be related to Quick casting, often Rapelling whilst clicking around yourself can cause Elise to drop down immediately.

Will try it in just a second

Yeah it's not helping matters turning it to normal cast. When I normal cast, it doesn't allow you to "chop up" the ability. It acts as a point and click ability; when you left click an enemy or monster, you automatically jump up and repel next to them. If you left click yourself, you'll only repel into the air. You then need to right click a target or wait for the repel to come down on it's own. So that's normal cast. I hope this elise e can be fixed. Should I report it as a bug?

I run quick cast and the advice I have for you is. If they are in range or ANY enemy in vision is in range she will go up on first cast. Come down on second. Basically you're mashing E too much...

This doesn't happen to me unless I want to.

Whoa whoa whoa hold on. Mashing e too much? That's not the problem. I know for a FACT that is not the problem.

I did tests and the problem is when you RIGHT CLICK A TARGET and then rapel afterwards, it will immediately jump on the target. So say you don't have to rapel onto a target to get to them, and decide to spider Q, then spider W to finish off someone with auto's, but then a kayle ults the enemy you're attacking. You instantly e and try to stall it out, but because you right clicked the target for auto's, it automatically drop you in front of them while they're invulnerable. Basically, if you auto and then want to rapel and stay in the air for any reason, YOU CAN'T.
