The most annoying part of this game
Since a season or two ago, this game REALLY wants you to push, destroy inhibitors and win.
BUT, it wants it in a very specific, shizophrenic way.
"I see you can't seem to destroy that turret - here's a Rift Herald. If you're still having trouble, here's Tristana's E and Ziggs' W. We'll even throw in a ZZRot Portal. OK, I see you are quite incapable of winning on equal terms - here's a massively overpowered buff guarded by a healthy, low-dps monster we pretend is epic and condescendingly call Baron. Still stuck? Have a broken Warmogs so you can chip away at the ineffectual turrets that never regen and not care about poke. Here, have 11 different waveclear items - maybe minions are getting in the way of turret destruction. Oh! Good, your dumb ass has finally taken down an inhibitor. Maybe with the aid of super minions you will be able to end this game before the enemy die of old age."
On the one hand you have a wealth of tools that add very little to gameplay aside from urging you to destroy turrets because Worlds audiences think 50 min games are boring (not necessarily wrong). But the thing that should ultimately allow you to push is BEING STRONGER THAN THE DEFENDING TEAM. And this game does not really allow you to build on your early game gold and (especially) experience advantages thanks to the mechanisms of bounties and catch-up exp gain.
Why not remove all these silly complications and just ALLOW A LITTLE BIT OF SNOWBALLING if you honestly want faster games? If I have to choose whether a game is decided by playing well at the start or a lucky Baron steal, I would pick the former a billion times over.
