So does anyone else really love tanking?

This is something ive been wondering for some time now, ever since team builder icons were released... You hardly ever see anyone with that nice looking hammer!

And this is also coming from a singed main who knows people who either only play adcs or mages. I just wanna know if anyone else loces the appeal of tanking: taking a ton of damage but living, being a huge utility, being the first in, or just in general like tanky champs.

This is just some ramblings from an iphone before i have to take my psych test so this probably isnt as fleshed out as i want it to be but eh.

Tanking is really cool, but there are so many champs with %maxhp damage and/or true damage with huge kiting potential! It makes tanks really useless sometimes - quite frustrating

Nowadays...not so much, you can defacto tank more efficient with a tanky-built Zed than with a Renekton in most cases unfortunatelly. Tank-itemization just suffers incredible hard, while dmg on the other hand still if fairly overtuned in relative values. Not to mention outside premade 5v5 you´ll often end up dying alone once you initiate, no matter how good that initiate had been...htere are just soo many hesitant players that donßt play to win, but ratherp lay to "not lose" (and for a good kda, as if it would kill the nexus).

I enjoy tanking a lot. However, season 4 is hard to tank in. The damage options outweigh the tank options. Building armor vs champions who are building damage give the end to the champion with damage. Try to vs Irelia top lane after she has mallet while your rockin' tabi and a chain vest. Good luck :D
