Umm my boys I think there's a mistake cause from what they said when you play games and you're unranked only the win will count if you lose you won't lose any LP unitl you hit rank Silver 2 or 3 from that point and on you will go on your own LP lose will count. So why did I get placed in Iron 4 from the first game I lost, I was unranked the 20min ago now I'm Iron 4 ???
Please actually read the changes, its provisional matches after a soft rest to your rank. No one can see the iron 4 but you, go win matches and get LP and lose none
That is your provisional rank. Losses will not cause it to de-rank, but wins will increase it. It is not your final rank (unless you lose every game thereafter)
You finished Bronze last season, so it makes perfectly sense that your provisional rank would be Iron 4 when you lost the first game of your placements?
FFS start reading how this stuff works already. Ur first game gives u a ranked and FROM THERE u won't lose lp and gain insane amounts. U got Iron cause u were already bronze last season and lost, it is not hard to read, jesus christ.
I won my first (and second) ranked match today from status unranked with an S- on Taric, and I got placed in Iron III.
This has been how it is for years. The only difference is now everyone can see what they have been doing for placements. i played 1 placement a month back when they introduced it and got silver 3 on a horrible loss. I was placed exactly 4 tiers lower then what i ended with last month. After 1 game a win i am now at bronze 3. Exactly 4 tiers lower then what it said i was a month ago. You know whats funny enough? You can only possibly go up 4 tiers during placements. After my second win. both games S or above so its not like i played bad im now bronze 3 with 48lp. whats this mean? I was placed to where i could get even to where i was before or lower then but not ahead. If they are going to do this kind of system it would make sense to start where you ended last season. Not just place people so they can only climb to even or less then what they had last season in placements. After talking to about 10 other people at all levels its the exact same thing. except above diamond.
