When is the growing power, and border friction of each going to force them into all out warfare?

that's not even close to "an event". that's just a rivalry in the lore. It's not even confirmed that Jinx is from zaun, same with Vi.

The only way for the rivalry to make an impact is if they bring someone that knows both Jinx and Vi in a personal level. Someone that knows the history of both of the girls and will most likely be in Zaun for the sake of consistency

A side from that, Jinx and Vi has a massive Plot hole for some reason that rito nows more about it.

That champion would be ekko, who has a voice line towards jinx that says "I used to have a crush, you know, before you started talking to the guns" along with one towards vi, where he says "you used to be cool" (possibly hinting that jinx and vi were both part of his gang before moving to piltover)

It is entirely confirmed that Jinx and Vi are from Zaun. Just read their new lore.

Not true. Actually, Vi is from Piltover, near the outskirts though, so it's very likely she knows Zaun a bit. Jinx is the only one of the two who has her actual place of residence as Zaun.

Yes, what I said is true. Just read their new lore like I said. You're thinking of the old lore that has since been retconned. Vi grew up in Zaun and is now affiliated with Piltover.

It's all on the Universe page. Vi, Caitlyn and several Piltover affiliated champs were updated when Camille came out and Jinx and a bunch of Zaun champs were updated when the Warwick rework came out.
