I read all the proposal and made a conclusion: I don't think any of the changes are necessary.
's kit may be basic but don't let any of their simplicity fool you. He can be outclassed by every other mages if played poorly. His Q can be dodged and is mainly used to push lanes. As for his W and with your proposal, I understand the frustration of his W being a potentially point and click stun with no counterplay but there are a few things you've got to consider:
-
His initial card pick of his W is random. The order afterwards is pretty much the game. B*->R->G->B->R->G->etc. The RNG on the asterisk has a 33% chance of getting the right card and if you don't have enough reflexes to immediately snap the right card that you want from picking the card initially, it could be a life or death situation from him. Such in that sense, I think he should keep his pt and click stun as it impacts his decision making from the three.

His W is a projectile so if you are a filthy
main, wind wall it on time. His W duration after he picked a card doesn't last long anyway so it is advised to stay away from him. It's pretty easy to escape from TF anyway since he doesn't have much gap closers other than
.

TF has been a champion with Auto-Attack enhancements and adding this change would strip that away from him. His blue card is perhaps the most fittingly does the most damage as it is the most filler while gold card is the least but with CC.
There isn't really frustrating about TF with his W usage because yes, it can be annoying if the TF uses the W correctly all the time. But like I said, TF players have 33% chance to initially get the right card and screw themselves over for missing out. There are a lot more things to be frustrated over than a TF who has perhaps one of the most high skill capped in midlane who teaches mid laners the most simple ways to roam the lane.
So TL;DR: I don't think the changes are needed.
