not sure how this is possible, my top laner is gold4 with a 31% win rate(13games tho), is matched with a plat 3 with a 54% win rate(200+ games), and guess what, i dont even have to say it. how is this even fair to the gold4 player???

first time? LIKE seriously the matchmaking is fucking bullshit, my fucking summoner spells resets whenever I close the client and come back, my whole fucking rune pages were deleted. the client takes literally 1 to 2 minutes for me to load in recent patches why are these issues not being fixed, rioter you reading this? fix the fucking gameeee

Have you gone on a win streak recently? When you go on a win streak you get worse teammates and better enemies for reasons that are unknown to me.

Its an issue with Duoque.

The gap of MMR scores allowed by duoing is large because its off tiers not the MMR value. Tiers are not inherently accurate measurements of a players skill until there is a high # of games played to lower system uncertainty.

Your enemy had a high MMR low MMR duo. Your top looks like the guy used to balance the teams out in overall MMR. Problem is with class intervals you kinda expect him to be outclassed by every other player besides his counterpart.

Riots solution seems like its going to be related to positional MM.

My solution is to make Duo Que enabled only off the hidden MMR values MM uses as a class interval. Disallow players beyond that from duoing.

The system did not inherently do anything wrong, there's just not much you can do to balance out MMR gaps of an entire division and expect a high quality match from. And that's not takeing population size into account.

How? Your top laner finished gold 1 last season and only has like 10 games played this season, so he still has a high gold mmr. Before you complain about matchmaking, put in the bare minimum effort.

I'm constantly paired with supposed high plats and diamonds, and even the occasional master-tier player, and 9/10, they're the worst teammates I'll ever have. And I'll lose 13-15 LP for it. Elo doesn't mean shit in this game anymore. Pro play should've taught us it's even more of a coin flip than ever before.

When u first start playing a season, your mmr from the previous seasons usually going to be higher than your rank, even if you're losing. It takes a number of games played for it to even out. I do think mmr should decay tho like rank. I've had a number of games like that to where someone comes back to game and jumps right into ranked in plat elo, and just gets demolished and gives us no chance to carry them. If they took a long break they shouldn't come back to the mmr of their peak.
