A thought i just had, why doesn't gp passive burn count towards TLD like other dot abilities. I understand this would be broken and I'm not asking for a change, just curious.

TlD cares about only basic attacks and abilities. Gangplank's innate is not a basic attack or an ability; it is an on-hit effect.

But Hextech revolver is an onhit with a cooldown. It helps SHACO proc thunder lord's with one auto and E.

I don't know if it's intentional, but Revolver's passive is considered a spell . As far as I know, this is the only case of an item passive being counted as a spell. Item actives are spells. If it is intentional, I'd assume it's because it has a 40 second cooldown.
