Yorick Ulti Presence of Mind

I saw the patch notes on the Presence of Mind interaction fix with "pet and reactivation ultimates" but when i went into game with Yorick's ultimate, as long as the Ultimate was alive, I wouldn't get cdr on the ultimate when I got kills. Is this intentional?
