Bard overall, despite what a lot of people have said, is quite balanced. However, there is one SERIOUS issue with Bard, and it's his health relics. He's allowed to have insane utility, while also being a dedicated healer (one you can't stop, because he puts the relics safely behind the turret). You're going to have the same problem with Bard that you had with old Soraka, and I'm really confused why his relics get to be this strong.
ModAcademy Kayn3 votesWell, main point for them being strong is because half the time, you're not in lane. Its a healthy package if you're being seiged by A Vaus, while you're waiting for him to return.
Secondly Bard can't make as many close call saves like Old Soraka since a freshly placed relic barely gives anything but speed.

IcyPepper3 votesexcept he can only have three out, the enemy can deny the packs (counterplay!), they have to charge up (making laning safe, but otherwise if not by turrets they can be trampled), and he doesn't have an ultimate that can heal all five players at once instantly with no charge time.
I mean, Sona and Nami aren't dedicated healers, after all.
TheI3igDaddy2 votesTo get the full use of the health packs, you have to let them charge. It's not an instant heal, and Bard can't make you run over it.
If you're that concerned by them, ask your support to take Ignite over Exhaust, and see if your mid laner or someone else can take Exhaust instead. This way you can all-in Bard and his carry without having the latter kite you backwards onto the health pack to get a big heal.

Shrîke1 votesSo far I've noticed his sustain (heal) is over powered. Outside of that and his ultimate I consider him fairly weak, especially in the laning phase if the enemy support is hard engage like Leona or Thresh. From the few games I've had with him the ult has screwed me over so many times as ADC it has left me wide open for the enemy team to capitalize on. Seems like another one of those high skill cap high reward LCS champions. Overall though probably a strong pick in the right hands, afk worthy in wrong.
