Cassiopeia - I don't think she'll change much.

But since we're tossing around ideas about a change to her E, why not just change everything else about her? Her ult is nice, but it doesn't fit her theme because she is not Medusa. She is similar, but naaah, that isn't her.

I like the idea of making her inflict different types of poison effects to enemies. Having 3-4 types of poison in her kit sounds exciting. Why not take it a step further and have her inject poison into minions or jungle monsters that lay dormant until they're killed.

It can play off like Twisted Fate's card select. The difference is you wouldn't get an indicator as to which poison she is putting into her target.

Example....

Q: Noxious Blast - Cassiopeia injects a neutral or enemy target with a volatile poison. If the target dies or if the poison lingers for more than x amount of seconds, the host will explode, inflicting enemy targets in the area with a DoT poison.

The problem therein would be that she would rely on minions to deal her damage. However, why not give her a passive that allows her to summon X amount of uncontrollable snakes that will seek out the nearest enemy champion/enemy/neutral. She can inject 1/2 amounts of poison into her snake and will explode when it gets near an enemy/neutral or expires in its traveling time.

At least that way she has a dynamic passive that makes her feel like "Oh shit, we really need to kill her so her passive doesn't come up." She's only a threat when she's allowed to focus down one person. At least this way it would justify camping her or killing her because she is a threat.. and not because she's an easy target.

I mean, it's all complete conjecture and I feel she should just get a whole rework at this point in her LoL Career. I want her to feel dynamic. I want her to feel sneaky. I want her to feel like she contributes in a different way. I don't want her to be a Mage ADC who function badly at both roles.

They have the resources needed to make significant changes to one ability only. Petrifying Gaze isn't a huge sore point for Cass players while her E and passive are, so Riot have their priorities here.

Cass can get a new ult when she gets another big rework, but Riot have bigger fish to fry regarding her.

You're right. I wasn't really saying this needed to happen now. I would like to see her reworked completely in the future.

Though I would rather have her passive completely changed because it is... so boring and takes power from her kit away.

I suppose they could add an effect to her E making her inject her Q/W as dormant poison into her target. If her E hits her target 3 times, the poison will erupt in a bigger (but short lasting) AoE dealing more DoT damage.

unfortunately she isn't gonna change much at all. i wan't her have to be a melee fighter that is similar to serqet in smite. for those who don't know serqets Q is a dash that hits targets with a poison does small dmg over time, her W is a straight line skill shot that applies a poison making the target start running towards ally champions and try to attack them for a short period of time(they still can't do dmg to them), her E makes her crouch going invisible and reactivating to jump to a target location, and her ult jumps on an emeny in melee distance applying her "last breath" poison that does true dmg over time and she is able to turn the target(while applying the poison) and throw them in whatever direction she wants, if the target dies enemies in an aoe around the target are infected with the last breath poison. her autos are buffed against a target depending on how many different poisons the target has on them. i obviously don't want riot to copy paste these abilities but there are some really cool kits you could make taking inspiration from serqet. like a similar passive with a slow poison, and a dash. if cass had her ult rework to where she coiled herself around a champ and bit them similar to serqet ult that would be awesome both gameplay and theme wise since cass seams like a "up close and personal ;)" champ lore wise more than a medium range mage. but alas! it will never be.
