Why can't i just leave a ranked game if someone been afk for more than 10 mins..

Been playing a lot of Dota2 since the TI5, and i'm just wondering why LoL hasn't taken the idea of "abandon/safe to leave" idea and put it in ranked.....just had a game jungler computer crashed i guess and he was away for 10 mins. Game pretty much over they took all our towers, game clearly over, but why do i have to still play through the game, why cant the guy whos afk get punished and i get to leave and not get demoted, Sorry Guy life sucks sometimes and your computer crashes. If my computer did the same i would take the abandon, lost points and move on.

Also if people are gonna say "well what about duos? one guy gets on smurf and the other doesn't lose points", i'd say punish them both is the coding that hard?

idk but the more i play dota the more i realize how amazingly fair their system is to their players and what they are doing for fans, vs the less and less LoL does for it fans. 9 i don't feel like/there's not a lot, as of now that shows me that LoL is going in a better direction.)

Example: ranked team builder, soon you be able to join a team that will force you to pick in meta champs... cause everyone loves in meta champs.

In dota you can pick whoever you want and as long as your good with that hero it's fine, but as example i pick Poppy anything and ppl will start calling "gg" "ff20" before the game is even loaded in.
