Seriously what is this bullshit. Why can you be put on your main role then 5 seconds after someone dodges you get autofilled. Does Riot seriously think this is a good idea? Do you have any idea how much this tilts people? IF SOMEONE DODGES PUT THE PEOPLE WHO DIDNT DODGE ON THE SAME GOD DAMN ROLE IF THEY WERENT AUTOFILLED.
because as time elapses the system compensates more and more (namely on role preferences first) in order to start the game already.
if someone dodges, they are removed from the queue, now theres 9 players, it then immediately picks up the next closest rated(notice its always an instant queue) player as opposed to waiting for another top laner (the guy who just left)
its not an extra 20s (1/10th of the presumed 3minutes you wait on average)
