Yeah this is a rant, and it's about the god damn matchmaking system. I'm sick and tired of Riot attempting to force people to be at a 50% win rate. I saw all the post on the forums and thought it was bullshit. Then I experienced it myself. Made a new account and started Silver V, GOT TO GOLD III WITH A 80% WIN RATE NO PROBLEM SO EASY I GOT +34 PER WIN. Then right as I hit Gold III the boosted teams started. Teams that I couldn't even hope to carry. For example these were my last 3 teams

Game 1: Me: 3/4/1 Mid: 2/12/1 JG: 4/6/1 ADC: 4/7/2 Supp: 2/4/7

The enemy Annie and Jhin were out of control

Game 2: Me: 8/6/2 Mid: 3/4/3 (kept getting caught towards end) JG: 3/3/7 (split push all game, no grouping what so ever) ADC: 6/11/3 Supp: 1/8/7

Their Fizz and Master Yi went ballistic on us

Game 3: Me: 8/7/1 Mid: 2/10/8 JG: 6/11/6 ADC: 2/10/8 Supp: 3/9/9

Got destroyed by the Lee Sin, Ahri, and Ezreal

SERIOUSLY RIOT STOP. I know what you're thinking "ohhh you could of done more" NO I COULDNT. I've gotten so many accounts to Plat+ because I keep getting perma'd BUT THIS IS LIKE NO OTHER. This is the first account I've gotten over 80% win rate. Now all of a sudden I'm getting fucked by people on my team who are tilted and have massive losing streaks? ENOUGH OF THIS RIOT.

BOT LOST THERE TOWER AT EIGHT MINUTES WITH NO JUNGLE INTERFERENCE LOL

Honestly I just needed to get this off me. I feel so defeated. No matter what I did I couldn't get any traction like I usually do. This is just cruel Riot. Don't force people to stay at a lower rank just because they don't have a 50% win rate...please I'm so tired after this...I tried I really did....my MMR I had so much hope for....I had the MMR of almost a tier higher now its the same as the division I'm in...why Riot I clearly don't deserve to be slowed down so why balance it...so frustrated. And people wonder why I get so many of my accounts permabanned (though for the record I only flamed in 2 of the 11 games I did today, only won 2 games out of that 11).

What you are experiencing is called confirmation bias. There is no plot by riot to keep you down. You can get feeder teams at any rank, and sometimes they come in streaks.

"And people wonder why I get so many of my accounts permabanned" - makes me wonder how much you are contributing to their poor performance. When I run into your type I make it my personal mission to guarantee their loss, because I know I can make up the LP loss easily.

as a bot lane main their are 2 main problems with bot lanes right now.

People don't want to play either role. Why? Because most games its 3-5 man groupings to get the first turret, then drag. So once you are down in the lane even by a kill or 2 it is nearly impossible for bot lane to make a comeback, while still in laning phase. The only way to come back is to freeze the lane and zone them out. The bigger problem with a freeze is most people do not understand how to do it and then if they do freeze it supports break the freeze by attacking the minions thinking they are helping (drives me insane as it happens to me all the time) Low elo mentallity is if the lane is not pushing you are not winning (i was up 45 cs by the 10 min mark on someone with a freeze and my support kept blaming me that we are losing lane).
Lack of knowledge of matchups in lane. This is driven from the fact that people do not understand kill<poke<heal<kill and it is mainly based on the type of support you have. A ton of times the enemy team picks a thresh/leona/blitz and then your team picks like a sona or soraka after clearly seeing the enemy support character. Soon as they get caught its like an automatic death. Then it is a repeated snowball process because they think they are down slightly but they can still fight and win. It just turns into a massive feed where the support blames the adc and the adc blames the support.

I used to think this was just a dumb conspiracy theory. People always find ways to make excuses, and of course every now and then there's going to be a genuine run of really bad luck. Good luck doesn't attract as much attention because it's consistent with our expectations. It's the bad luck we really notice. This happened to me a few times too - it would sure seem like after winning too many games in a row I was being punished by being given the worst teams possible until I'd paid my bill for all the (mostly) non-idiotic teams I'd been on up until that. But we tend to perceive patterns and want there to be a deeper reason for things that really do just happen coincidentally.

I don't see how it can be merely a coincidence anymore. Not after losing 9 of my last 10 ranked games when I was getting matched with silver players who were toxic and unbelievably ignorant of the basics compared to the teams I was getting when I started in bronze 4 last year. What I've usually seen in the minimap, my team running around like the ghosts in Pac-Man while the enemy team is coordinated and taking objectives, is forever burnt into my mind. Every game, we had someone (if not multiple people) going AFK for extended periods of time, disconnecting altogether, doing nothing but whine about their 400-500ms ping, or duoing into games way above their ability to compete effectively. (People act like the idea of someone "boosting" into high bronze/low silver games is ridiculous, but bronze covers a very broad range, and when you get someone who belongs way down at the bottom of bronze following their silver buddy into your game against all silvers, it gets ugly.)

My win rate was closing in on 60% when I made silver this season, and now I've been stomped down to 48% and my MMR has been totally destroyed. Which (coincidentally?) is when I finally won another game. My team wasn't very good overall and we had a completely brain dead mid/top duo, but the enemy team was playing at a pretty equally low overall level for a change. I'm so sorry I played solid support and kept helping my team win all those games earlier when apparently we're supposed to lose at least half our games by throwing auto-fill tantrums and playing 0/13 Brand support with no sightstone. I hope matchmaking feels that I've been sufficiently punished now.

can't up vote this enough .. but you know what ? long are gone the days riot actualy cared about this game and long are gone the days of the ELO system, don't forget we use this crap of MMR system for a while now and its pure BS there no such thing revelant like ELO was no LP BS system ... gain ELO or lose ELO no fucking retarded LP + Promotion stupid shit
