I'm not one to complain, I never post on these forums or discussions or whatever. Varus: Three auto attacks + ability landed = % max health as magic damage. Vayne: Three auto attacks = % max health as true damage. wat

Varus' is 15% and Vayne's 8%

Varus' is more bursty due to having to use an ability to proc it, however in long term it's weaker because is gated by his cooldowns.

Up to 15% + on-hit damage vs 60+8% at rank 5. Varus can also detonate the stack(s) early and his W has ap scaling vs no scaling. The abilities are similar but shouldn't be compared in a vacuum.

You kind of forget Varus has an ability that tops Jayce's enhance Q in damage late game. Varus does a lot of poke damage and is team orientated compared to Vayne. He isn't meant to win trades until he gets some AD. He also has a lot more range.
