Alright, I get it.

You love project stuff. But can I at least look at the spectate live? It's worse than the amount of pop-up ads that cover the screen in any free phone app.item 3070 Or that mission in GTA V where you had to close all of the pop-ups on that guy's computer because he had a virus.

Indeed.. couldn't stalk my fav Teemo player today due to lack of spectator screen -_-'

Sidenote: Suggestion to RIOT If someone's friends list is full or they simply ignore "adds". Why not let us add them to a custom list that allows us to spectate their games, rather than talk to them?

Either that, or perhaps allow us to search for games to spectate, based on a champion we want to see.

This is what has always bugged me. I'm no longer an active LoL player, but I love watching games through spectator mode. Whenever there is a major event, the ads replace the "spectate" window and the only option that's left is to visit Twitch. However, I'm not interested in watching streamers play the game: I dislike the culture and the atmosphere – instead of freely overseeing champions brawl in the lush forests of the Rift, I am forced into the streamer's point of view as commercials and obnoxious subscription announcements fly around. For comparison, DotA 2 even provides paid season passes for selected tournaments, aside from letting you spectate public matches all year round.

TL;DR Let people use spectator mode all year round, Twitch isn't a catch-all.

They really kicked this project into overdrive.

It's a mystery why they hide it from us. They're always watching. Always listening.

I haven't logged on yet to see it personally, but holy adware Spam-man!

There should be a way to watch streams like that without it being able to be replaced by Mr Yi over here. Maybe in the play option...btw I saw a game with a full first strike team. Beuatiful.

No. If you want to spectate, go stalk high elo players in the ladder :P jk (seriously glad though that there are ways to watch replays and shit even w/out rito making it as easy as usual)

You can spectate games on other sites like lolskill.net or op.gg or if the player is streaming on twitch.tv. Just throwing some resources out as alternatives

During the bilgewater event, they did the same thing. IDFA about lore anymore but I want to see others play.
