Focus her first. She's squishy.

There are a ton of champions more toxic than Soraka. Malzahar, Warwick, Mundo support, Shaco, to name a few

It's true. They made her a snowballer, either you get ahead and can build AP for utterly obnoxious healing, or you get behind and are a very subpar support. Her healing for the first few minutes is borderline unbearable for the enemy if the raka is smart and has hp5 quints and coin or rej beads. To boot it's very easy to get snowballed out of lane as new Soraka, she only has awkward delayed disengage, is bad at mitigating adc dmg, W gets far, far worse the more dps the enemy has, I mean, she's just an annoying champion.

I've played like 100~ games as her and all I can think of her as is an experienced-bot-lane-duo or troll pick.
