What to Max - Fizz

I'm new to Fizz, i just bought him recently. What do you max after ult? I read something online, and it said W. However, my high elo friend says to make E or Q first? What do I max?

It actually depends on the matchup. In a matchup where all I can do to trade is WQ and E out I max W. (ex. Jayce) If im in a matchup where I am a bit more comforable (ex. Yasuo, TF) I take E. I would even max E if youre against a matchup that prevents you from doing the w->Q + E out combo (ex, Ryze). Always max Q last.

Some people always said Q, but for me, I always put like 2 points into W, 1 into Q, 2 into E, 1 into R, then finish E, then Q, and then W.

You never ever max Q on Fizz, you either go for W or E

You're supposed to max E and take 6 scaling AP Glyphs and 3 Flat AP Quintessences, because at level 9, your E will be able to 1 shot a whole minion wave.
