Advice for being a better support

I am a JG and Top main, even mid, but support is difficult in lower elo, Why? because 95% of the time your ADC is first time ADC in their life with a brand new champion they got, so...

How can you be a better support in situations where your ADC is walking into nauts, or blitz, or thresh grabs, saying "TAKE MY BODY".

Basically your ADC doesn't communicate, (doesnt even know the chat feature exists maybe) and is feeding as hard as he can.

Would it be right to start taking their farm and try to take over their role?

LOL

but hey don't get upset because other people don't know what they are doing, just move on with your gameplay. :)

It would be okay to take their role if you know for a fact you can put out a lot of damage in burst.

nah normally i ask what type of supp they want in Q. if they want a safe one go janna or braum, engage go leo, shen or blitz, and if they don't know go whoever you are most comfortable with. honestly at lower elo support is quite annouing so try to Q up with some friends if you can. oh and in the case of that yeah get farm and keep building items.

I just stop saving them,. ahha.

I'm the kind of support that wards (YES I EXIST), and will die for my ADC.

But if they are being dumb as shit (no offense to the actual GOOD adc's) I stop saving them, let them be dumb then take their CS when they are K.O. That and I last hit the minions that they are obviously too stupid to grab as they clearly hit the full life minions :p

Nah, don't. You're gonna end up doing more harm than good. If you don't like that shitty dummy ADC you've been forced to work with, just be patient until a tower dies, and roam to do something else.

Pick something that isn't ADC-reliant and can carry on his or her own, like Lux, Annie, Zyra, and Brand. Lots of stupidly strong presence, can do a lot of damage without much items (since their base damage values aren't too bad), and actually carry shitty asses. Hell, things like Trundle support works since he can carry on his own just as hard. These picks I suggested will not get you into trouble as long as you do your job: that is, to make the enemies have as a horrible time as possible without starving your ADC.

But if anything, don't take anyone's farm. It not only makes people cry, but it also makes the enemy ADC more ahead, and you don't want that. Unless he is obviously at base and/or is dead, of course.

Though I could go on if you want legit advice.

I liked to pick Brand and play "Go ahead, take my bait." Gotta work with what you're given! :D

Take CS when they're dead.

If your ADC really is that bad, go for an item that gives you stronger solo prowess, but doesn't necessarily forgo utility that makes you useful in the mid-game. Items like Rylai's, Morellonomicon/Athene's, Zz'Rot Portal, Aegis, and maybe even Warmorg's. (Although, I only recommend that on Braum and Tahm)

It may seem counter-productive, but skipping Sightstone can actually save you some coin. Most don't realize that it's worthless if you're never leaving tower range.

my very first S+ on Leona was like that MissFortune was 0/8/0 in first 12 min your best option is to just tell adc to last hit from under tower and start wandering hard be a beast at setting up ganks with jng and other lanes so you get alot of money fast from assist when enemy team starts responding fall back bot and give your adc the biggest opening to get a kill you can rinse and repeat. no plan is fool proof but supp has alot of room to be a playmaker. glhf

If the adc is 100% trash you support your other lanes (as a support jungler counters as a lane) constantly roam between mid, top and jungle

Punishment does not produce constructive output, it produces destructive output and is only useful in preventative situations.
