2/1 in placements for gold. Then the game decides to drop me while im picking my champion.....This counts as a loss. On top of getting a loss for my promos because riot cant fix their client it also decides to give me a 27 minute penalty from playing a league game? Why is it giving me a 27 minute penalty for a dodge that I didnt even have control over? Can a red please respond? I was in champ select and when it was my turn to pick a champion, 3 seconds later the game told me I failed to select a champion.

Can a red please read this? I have already sent in a ticket and even gave them the information they asked for and had no fix provided. I have re installed league twice also. Turned off firewalls and added league to exclusive list. I feel terrible because I have this feeling Im going to lose the next game due to trolls or an afk.

Ive longed believed that you should be able to dodge a series game wether it be the first 10 games or just a series of promotion without it being a loss. It makes no sense, if i encounter a troll in a regular ranked game, I just dodge and lose 3 lp instead of 15 or whatever. Why all of a sudden now that im in a game thats even MORE important im no longer able to dodge a game I know im bound to lose? And even if I do dodge it'll count as a loss anyway. I know in your case you didnt dodge but simply got dc'ed, but its the same issue. EXITING OUT OF OR NOT PICKING A CHAMPION SHOULD NOT COUNT AS A LOSS IN A SERIES OR PROMOTION

I agree losses shouldnt be given for dodging a promotional game. Is it always a 27:00 minute wait timer for dodging ranked games? That already seems like penalty enough.

Ive basically just come down to spamming the champion I want to play in the select screen so the game says I picked a champ.

Don't play league on NA. they have shit ISPs lol buy a VPN (or use a free one) and try EU or KR or really anywhere thats not in NA honestly. Even brazil.

This has only been happening to me recently though. I really wish I could get a riot employee to help.

I've been having this trouble too, sent a support ticket to riot, and they're still workin on finding out what's wrong.

I was on my 3rd set of diamond promos today and got a black screen when I was in champ select. Waited about 15 minutes than exited out. I was 2-2 in those promos. RIP diamond.
