stats like thornmail but the opposite. giveS you health back if you are damaged by magic damage as your passive and mr stats for item
so it would give 100mr like thornmail gives 100
and you can only buy either thornmail or spellmail

This is a difficult concept to incorporate into the game as this would be a defensive item for not only mages but some ADCs and fighters as well as all champions use their spells. Thornmail was a good concept because it was solely for the purpose of Auto attackers and was only efficient to build against champions like tryndamere who relied on AAs for the majority of their damage.
There is also difficulty of DOT champions and DPS mages dealing significantly less than burst mages because of how the item would work unless there would be a cool down in which case the item can easily be procced by something that you didn't desire to block.
This is a very creative idea but it would be hard to realistically implement in the game.
100 MR?! You do realize magic resist item stacking is nowhere near as effective as armor items right? Even with just 100 MR as the only stat it gives it would be gamebreaking. For one there's nowhere near as many magic pen items as armor pen.
I have an idea.
Let's make it have lots of MR, and also movespeed to dodge spells. If you get hit though it should have some HP Regen.
Also let's call it "Force of Nature".
Wouldn't it be more appropriate for it to reflect some damage instead of healing the wearer? I feel like the healing would be broken.
