Hecarim/jarvan interaction

Hi guys, i played a Jarvan game few days ago and i was against a Hecarim. Then my question is:

is it normal for Jarvan's R to stop Hecarim's R? Hecarim should be unstoppable when he is in his R animation (at least it says that), but when you ult him as Jarvan he gets stopped.
