As someone who stopped playing League before the SR update; how do I understand what's going on?

I stopped playing League about a month before released, just didn't have the time anymore then, but sure enough here I am, back again because I clearly don't love myself enough. SR is different, jungle has changed, item balancing has gone ALL OVER the place. Anyone mind directing me around the changes to top lane meta, jungle routes and building, and if any major champs have changed their rolls?

there is a lot, so I can't really go over everything

kass got super nerfed veigar got nerfed j4 got nerfed but is still strong vi and j4 are top tier junglers right now and are getting ban a lot graves is strong right now

there is a lot more of course, but I really can't keep track of the changes, only what's right now. I also don't jungle that well, so I'm not commenting on anything jungle besides what's meta since that stands out.

not a whole lot changed to be honest except some added jungle buffs for people with smite. everything besides that is just people over exaggerating.

Top Lane Meta : Cassiopeia Gnar Irelia Jax Kennen Lissandra Lulu Maokai Morgana Renekton Rumble Sion Fizz (AD Bruiser, go look at patch notes) Hecarim (usually ignite tp, rush mercurial homeguards for indecent roam). Some of the above are more or less played but all are viables, plus eventually some more (Malphite / Vlad / Swain / Mundo ...) who are not that bad but quite impopular atm.

Jungle route : Start Gromp or Krugs smiting it, then go to Red / Blue then it depends on your champion :

Very bad early clear : Wolves / Raptors / Blue / Red then back and upgrade your item
Good early clear but you don't want to gank : full clear untill you have / want to go back
Good early clear and you want to gank : Blue / Red and gank It's also more and more common to go for the crab since it deals no damages and it's easy to kill if you have CCs, just care if you're low because it makes you walk all around the river.

Thanks everyone for the information. I have read the patch notes for what I've missed, it's just a bit overwhelming when there's SO MANY changes. You all helped me out with the info, thanks again for the jungle and top lane info as well as telling me about Fizz, I use to love him but AD bruiser? What the actual shit!
