as a champion his strong and weak sides ?

Shen loses lane, but wins the game. Other current meta tops counter him really hard, so his laning phase is miserable. But his map presence at 6 turns mid / bot lane ganks into 2v2's or better for your team with Stand United, plus his taunt is the epitomy of "I'll hold them, you punch.".
