STOP THEM TODAY! These 4 Players are KILLING League of Legends.
I can't remember this last time I played a fun, competitive game where both teams played their best and every person honestly attempted to win and secure objectives.
When you queue up for a game, whether it be ARAM, 3v3, Normals, or Ranked, it is like being dropped into a bucket of crabs. In majority of games, you will encounter:
1.) A player who is unskilled. This player doesn't under champion ranges, runs instead of trades, doesn't focus objectives, doesn't dodge abilities well, and often gets caught up of position resulting in their deaths. This player usually has 5-10+ deaths, but has 5-10 assists from at least trying.
2.) A player who feeds. These players are generally "try hards." Meaning when they are down, behind, or even slightly ahead, they are all-in in most fights, regardless of being outnumbers. These types of players will often chase kills, run in areas with limited vision, has a revenge based playstyle. This player typically goes even, i.e. 11/12/8
-
A player who trolls. These players are usually frustrated with the current or previous game. These type of players generally get down early in the game and takes their frustrations out on their own team. Many of these players can be seen complaining in Team Select about the type of teams they usually get. Often times these players have no intention on winning the game and don't mind losing. Overall, they ruin each game they play with others. Scores vary, but could be 3/13/4
-
A player who AFKS/disconnect. The reason this player leaves often varies. It can be due to a "Rage Quit" or a hardware/software issue. Since the type of computers players use widely varies, FPS and Ping differ for all players. Along with that, internet connection is also a variable. Not only could a player be using Ethernet or Wi-fi, the speed of the internet can also vary, causing any number of issues. The worst AFK may be players who never load/enter the game at all. This instantly places the remaining players at a disadvantage.
Regardless of levels or champion, it is my observation that a wide number of players on this game don't have a great interest in involving their skill and the overall level of competition. With all of the millions of players who could potentially be one of the four types of players mention above, the game and level of enjoyment becomes unpredictable.
With no accurate, efficient, or effective method of discerning the player pool from the serious player to casual/new player, this game will continue to decline due to its own player base.
