Ryze Winrate

So I just got 2 Ryze skins from the mega orbs and I was wondering if I should even try to play Ryze. Naturally, I checked his winrate to see if he was even good and I was so surprised to see that he had the LOWEST winrate in the whole game. I thought that he was an alright pick but the winrate seems to say other wise. I see the winrate is for Ryze mid but a lot of Ryzes go top so I'm wondering if hes any good?

Ryze is good if you are good at Ryze. It sounds vague, but that's really the case.

Ryze has been very heavily gutted because he is so heavily abused in pro play when he is strong. He is on the lines for yet ANOTHER rework, which is why Riot kneecapped him; they don't want people to play him.

I think most people will say he has been nerfed too hard (quite a few patches ago). There are a few people who will say low skill players lose and high skill players can win with him. But a high skill player would likely just pick another champion.

Just wait for the next Ryze rework.

Ryze sucks for solo queue.

But he has been extremely effective in almost every iteration when it comes to tournament play because of his reliable disables, prolongued/sustained damage and tanky nature. Basically don't pick him unless you're at least duo queuing.
