Reasons:
outshoves you early and Zilean is awful at farming under turret but morg's not the only champ able to do this... here's the difference: SHE IS ALMOST UNGANKABLE due to her kit AND your poke does nothing vs her due to the spell vamp + E so you're completely neutralized and will be at a large cs deficit till you get enough AP/mana to clear the wave just as fast as her

I don't think Zilean's boring at all and he's in fact quite hard to play optimally.

I don't think you realize that at least in NA LCS, Zilean is an up and coming situational pick. However, they pick Malzahar into him, which I think is awful.
