No adc instead we have Sion. My gut tells me to dodge but somehow I did not.
What rules do you follow when deciding to dodge?

Enemy team gets a champion that I have on my Blacklist (It's like 3 champions, 1 of which is my permaban. don't call me out). Somebody is acting like a troll in champ select Champ select arguments Extreme wtf meta breaking picks. I don't care how many games you have on it, AP Zed support is not a thing and I do not want that in my ranked games. I like people trying new things but some picks don't even work on paper.
I never dodge. At the pro level, I've seen all sorts of crazy things work. You haven't lived until you've won tournament-level Hokou to Iou with a pistol-wielder as your front line. Low-level League play tends to feel too rigid and it scares people off of letting teammates try new things.
Embrace it, see what happens. If it doesn't work out, oh well. There's always next game.
Considering I myself play tons of off-meta things (botlane veigar being a fun one), I rarely ever dodge due to often ignoring my teammates. Am pretty sure someone wrote a song about this feeling though...
I dodge when teammates are overly toxic.
Toxic team mate sin champ select, if someone on my team bans a champ another team member has highlighred. or if someone on my team picks the champion i have highlighted ( especially into a role they dont belong )
My gut told me to dodge my last game. Wasn't sure why so I played it out. Turns out in a low-mid gold game we had a mid laner on his second ever ranked game. Went 1/7/2 vlad in his first game and got 18 deahths on my team. Fed a cass 1v1 (didn't get ganked) then cried that it was a 2v1 lane. Didn't work because the enemy jungle was 0/0/0 and the TF died 3 times before the jungler ever showed himself. Needless to say the gold 3 cass he was fighting destroyed him. Why in the hell are players fresh to ranked fighting golds?
Added point the new player was also toxic as hell and spam pinged/raged at his jungler for "doing nothing".
For me if people are fighting hard in champ select or if there is a real troll pick. I'm talking like ADC picking nunu or something level of troll pick.
