Stop Leaverbuster for one time offenses

It's so annoying that even though I'm clearly active (i have chosen my champion) but I get FORCED to leave AND punished (leaverbuster) for not locking in on time even though I choose my champion. And then the stupid notification has the audacity to say you abandoned the game on purpose or some crap like that. Same thing for the banning of champions. If everyone chooses the champion I want to ban then i have to decide and pick another one. On top of that I have to be mindful of which champion my teammates want to play so I can't just ban ANY champion. The pressure of deciding correctly with such a short time period is hard and then on top of that I get AUTOMATICALLY punished for not locking in on time.

Why can't the time be extended or at least not get a freaking leaverbuster.
