I'm gold 2 and in 90% of my games since pre season i have had at least 1 diamond on the opposing team. Even if i beat them in lane they will coordinate better with their team and make carrying their team incredibly easy. why don't i fight bronze players since this is apparently how your match making works. if i wanted to play against diamond players i'd stop sucking and rank up but since i can't beat gold 1 it's not going to happen so please stop putting me against fucking diamonds for christ sake.

it just means the LP system needs to MATCH the fluidity that MMR has, we should more freely fall and rise between divisions as balance dictates.

if MMR says you should play with diamond players you should either be in diamond or they should have fallen to your current level.

just another example of the flaw of having 2 systems in place, not just one.

Its a shame MMR isn't consistent, I'm Gold IV, but getting matched sometimes with all silvers and other times plats/diamonds.

I'd rather play with the Plats/diamonds all the time though so I can improve a lot.

Your ranking has no indication of your skill level. You could have been diamond at one point and lost the past 50 games in a row and get matched up with silvers. Rank is just what color trophy you get. Your MMR is your skill level, and you are being matched against players of common skill. Stop looking at the borders.
