Supplied link is from Champion.gg, it aggregates gameplay data from diamond-ranked matches. Rek'sai has a 46% winrate. He is currently the 7th WORST jungle champion in the game, despite being released not too long ago...

I realize he used to be in a strong spot and that it may be hard to figure out what to do with him, but something clearly needs to be done here.

Its primarily because she has been reduced to being a knock up bot. They gutted a significant chunk of her damage on her Q. They removed her bonus rage from her passive so her ability to chunk with E is even more difficult than before.

The problem with Rek'Sai is that she has the potential to be tremendously powerful, almost on the strength of her ult alone. There's a reason she was a top pick during Worlds.

At worst, she's under tuned at the moment.

Rek'sai is female so all your "he" should be "she"
She was top tier, but Riot kept nerfing her damage patch after patch that, despite them saying she supposed to be a high damage squishy jungler, she can only be played as a tank jungler and no where near as good as other tank junglers.

Yeah they absolutely gutted her damage and the knockup radius nerf was just like....really?

She's absolute garbage in soloqueue because her mobility, while on paper it looks decent, just feels like nothing. You need teammates, because without them your main mode of traveling (underground), doesn't allow you to actually see nearby threats like skillshots that normally would be flashable. She went from being a broken bruiser to a utility/vision/peeling tank who can't have any major teamfight presence because she has that global ult and her mobility.

Because instead of keeping the champion unique to her features, they gutted everything that people found fun about her and turned her into nothing more than a shitty knock-up bot, which also got nerfed.

I've pointed out her flaws in the past but all I've gotten is "NO SHE'S OP FREAKING NERF THAT @#$!@#%!" and "YOU DON'T KNOW HOW OP SHE IS YOU STUPID PERSON!"

Personally think she needs some buffs. In particular the usefulness of preyseeker, perhaps add a slow, make it automatically detonate when it hits max range, able to be detonated (like Vel'Koz Q) and reveal in an AOE, and do something about how hard it is to land based on the pings from being burrowed.

Only had one Rek'Sai in a recent game... and he absolutely DESTROYED the enemy team. Made me want to start playing her again.

Well, she's not going to get buffs until she stops being one of the best junglers in pro play, and I don't think that's going to happen any time soon.
