Master Yi is in a very weak spot right now
I think we have abused yi enough in low elo that almost every moron with a coffee bean for a brain knows how to deal with him,

nah he's pretty busted once he gets his crit items ask Silencee Sucks or cowsep.
it's a bit stupid to come out with such argument that ppl in lower elos learned to counter yi because i dont see much invading -to kill out yi in the early stages by denying him cs and kills in lower elos ppl will always push w/o -vision making them free kills for yi. yi is strong very strong if they buff him they will have to immediatelly nerf yi because of how his kit works.
ask anyone they will tell u that yi is pretty balanced now.
every champ has to have counterplay or they will be unstoppable assassin junglers get beaten by tank junglers but if you're smart u will manage to feed yourself if u ward ur jg try to not encounter the enemy jg till u farm up and thats it u cant ask ur main to be immortal that's just stupid.
I don't think Yi himself is weak right now so much as he doesn't fare well very against all these peel based meta comps. I made a thread suggesting that they should give him some sort of counter measure towards CC but that got downvoted into oblivion. Yi unfortunately is just one of those champs the community never wants to see be strong ever.
