Her E is going to nullify a lot of his pre noxian might damage and he has absolutely no way to guarantee landing a Q outside of using his apprehend early which sucks because then he cant use it to cancel her third Q hop.
Riven shreds darius and then GTFOs.
Wash rinse repeat until darius is put 6 ft under.
Darius only worked as a decent counter before his juggernaut rework.

It could not be argued by any stretch of the imagination that Kassadin has a silence. His interruption mechanic specifically only has an effect on channels. There is no duration on it.

Poke with Q, snowball hard af, more useful overall for roaming
Lane sustain with Q, post level 6 can straight up dive her.
Q harass, shield her burst, devour her is she tries to escape.

How does alistar do any damage? Agree with tahm, pantheon is still somewhat hard since riven doesntrely on autos, lost to a riven as tryn. She will just stun and hop away after she knocks u up and does damage.

If you lost to a Riven as Trynd you're not very experienced in the match up as trynd. Only her knock up can cancel his spin, you can get the animation off if you time it right (most rivens try to chain cc after second auto with Stun+Auto+3rd Q). Early you can win trades just by Auto+E away when she comes in to cs. Q heal up as needed.

Gnar is a fun skill matchup, but I don't think any champion really completely stomps Riven except for maybe Poppy (but I haven't tried her).

D2Vincent1 votesTop lane Karthus can just kite her to oblivion. Optimal build is probably either GLP (for more slows) or RoA. If she tries to initiate, turn on E and drop a wall on her. He's also one of the few champs who can still abuse exhaust if you don't want to take TP for whatever reason.

He beats riven so hard. You out poke her, you out farm her, you out damage her. The only time you have to be careful against her is when she is level 6-8. After those 2 levels you can easily 1v1 her the rest of the game.

absolutely destroys her because of the massive 650 range autos. She literally can't farm from level 1 onward (start E for extra safety).
