What kind of players do Riot think of us? What is the point of the Hextech Crafting?

First of before I say anything, what do you need to reach an S rank in a game because I played with a KDA of 18/3/6 and got an A+ ........... like why? why A+? Not even a key fragment?what do you need to do in a game to get S rank? please tell me? Now on to the main question what kind of players do Riot think of us and what is the point of the Hextech Crafting? because not everyone is a try hard we(normal players) do not like to go LCS in normals we like to just enjoy the game(while the others becomes toxic as hell or talk crap on all the other players even though its normals and most of the time we are all in the same rank). The second part of the question what is the point of the hextech crafting because as far I can see with the hextech crafting it does nothing but give us random champion and skins that either we already have or hate. Every time I play a game and I do amazingly I just forget about Hextech crafting because it feels like it doesnt even exist anymore, it feels completely useless.

They need to make the bought boxes only do the other kind of essence.

Well how many ward did you place and/or destroy? What was your CS like? How many objective did you take or participate in taking?

All those are important aspects to getting a higher grade. Stop thinking this is an FPS game -- KDA doesn't mean everything

I ward everytime its up, I helped destroy 4 objectives and got 1 drag and I had 129 cs. At least give a key fragment. A game later I was Nidalee and went 6/6/6 helped destroy 1 objective and 2 drags and I had 64 cs and I got a key fragment from that*[zombie-brand-facepalm]*

So, the key fragments are a semi-random event: it isn't tied to any particular grade or mastery, just whether you win or not. It's semi-random because it doesn't have a linear drop rate, it's less likely to occur after you get a key drop.

Grades, and therefore, boxes, seem to be tied to specific things: wards, your kill contribution, cs/min, assists with towers, and objectives. It's also based off how well the overall community does with that champ in the particular role - so an S+ with Fiora might be an A+ with Fizz (just choosing 2 champs at random, not making any commentary on either of these champs).

One thing that's completely anecdotal for me is upgrading your boots to the T2. If you end early, this seems to be one of the more important things.
