Why are placement match players always being put in a too high of elo games?

I had an ashe that had 30 cs while her opponent had 90 it makes no sense its not fair to everyone else and its literally a free loss. No shot of carrying someone THAT bad.

Maybe the quality of players is higher than last year (doubtful but possible)
Maybe the Ashe was having a bad game (most probable)
Maybe placements start everyone at the same spot to give everyone the chance to prove theirself. (quite possible.)

So instead of flaming a player who had a bad game, maybe just focus on where you can improve, because frankly if you're in games with people in placements you're not doing too good yourself.

I didn't have a single lane win until my most recent game. I've been having decent games considering how trash my teammates have been. I never said I cant improve either. But the fact is you cant carry someone that bad bud. Sorry 4 ur white knight status. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Nope, I'm stating facts, it is possible to carry a player who did poorly. I've done it myself. You just gave up midway through the game when it got hard. Sorry for your commitment issues. [sg-lux-2]

I've had a bad season, though I literally just started the new system last week. Last time I played was pre-season. I'm still adjusting to all the changes, but go ahead, prove my point that you're just an ass by flaming people with no context.

Pretty sure I said placements were terrible because people get put in games in that they don't belong in at all, and it ruins the game for everyone else. And your direct quote was, "because frankly if you're in games with people in placements you're not doing too good yourself." Which was quite dumb in itself considering the person in the placement game was on my team. So idk what your getting at buddy.

what I'm getting at, is that most placement games happen around bronze and silver. So statistically speaking, if there is a person in placements in your game, YOU are not doing good as a player. Math points to you being at bronze or silver with no need to look at your actual rank. It is also a fact that bronze and silver players ALL are not doing good at the game, myself included, even at my best, I'm only mid silver, and right now I'm at my worst. So, my statement holds true, not flame, just fact that based on the statistical probability you probably just aren't doing well at the game. SO focus on what YOU need to improve, and stop worrying about what your teammates need to improve. That will make the game more enjoyable for everyone. You'll enjoy it more because you'll be doing better personally, others will enjoy it more because you won't be focused on their mistakes.

You are dodging your own point that you made guy. I never said I can’t improve. You flamed me after I made a valid point. Went into my match history to flame me as well. While looking at your match history and I haven’t seen a decent game out of you. I made a point about the crappy matchmaking and you turned it toxic. Just take the L.

that is not flame. I have not even looked at your match history. I can't be bothered. I have not flamed or been toxic to you at all, I made an observation using statistics based on the probability of rank. I assumed your rank based on basic math, fk I don't even know what rank you are, you could be gold for all I care, but at the end of the day, gold is still not good. What I am saying though, is basically ALL players in silver and bronze are bad, yes including myself. It is a fact that all players in silver and bronze are bad, mostly because of shit like this where the simple truth is perceived as flame. players aren't really "good" til Plat plus. Gold is just above average, but is not good. I'm not even actually playing on this acct, I screwed up my mmr so bad that I don't really want to play on it. I'm on a winning streak on my other acct playing outside of support as a support only player, which tells me that support may actually be in a bad place at the moment as a whole, which is due to something completely unrelated to this thread. SO, if you want to flame me over a match history that has no context to it, please go right ahead, you aren't bothering me at all.

When I did placements on my alternate account (I'm Silver so I hesitate to call it a smurf), I had one game where our Master Yi said he was a Diamond smurf, went 23/2, and ended the game at 17 minutes. The next game I swear all 9 other players were bots, and I just steamrolled the whole thing on Tryndamere. A few average games after that I got dumpstered by a Katarina who showed me things I wasn't even aware were possible with the champion.

So yeah, placements are all over the map, because the game has no idea where to put you.

I'm a high gold mid lane player and got placed in Silver 4 on a new account

just really unlucky games and people literally 4v5ing with me warning them I'm backing and telling them to back off

even had a dc and went 4-6 in placements

the next few games were equally decided by who got the worst player

for example, I had a Jax go Rageblade with no JG item and while feeding... he did 4k damage the entire game... less than even the tank support

some of these players in low MMR are so unbelievably bad that they ruin a climb even for a good player

now it would take me another 30-50 games to reach my true level

I made the mistake of picking Ziggs, a team dependent champ, if I were a Katarina main or something then maybe a lot of these problems disappear

anyway, I sort of understand silvers talking about ELO hell now... it's not that you can't climb out but rather that you can get stuck for a while due to really awful players ruining your games and the funny thing is that some of these guys in silver do seem pretty competent while others are like "are you even human?" level... Some of these dudes would get executed by Scuttler if it were possible.

in higher MMR it happens MUCH less and the games are way more fun. you still have people lose lanes or go 0/8 when camped etc. but it has some justification. you don't get 0/3 Jaxs rushing Rageblade with no JG item... that's in many ways worse because the gold he has actually is so wasted even if he weren't otherwise feeding. in terms of game influence, his 0/3 is like being 0/9 compared to a Jax that just goes Cinderhulk and Phage.

anyway, I now have Silver 5 MMR on that account and it's just not even worth playing on because of the game quality. I'd only use it for champs I don't know how to play.

Yes exactly I've heard many streamers say they dodge when they get placement match players.
