can someone explain to me why poppy is listed as an assassin?? just curious

A legacy from before her rework because Riot apparently never updates the class tags.
Poppy used to function as an assassin after she built Trinity Force as her ultimate would essentially let her ignore four members of the enemy team and deal amplified damage to the fifth.
