Malzahar QoL Change

Problem: Malzahar's Voidling remains very clunky in terms of pathing and utility.

Solution: Allow Malzahar's Voidling to walk through minions.

Why: This would streamline his Voidling in terms of pathing and maximizing its use when it is up. Malzahar's abilities have very high mana costs during lane phase. Much of his kit revolves around the interaction between his Voidlings and Malefic Visions granting him mana back. By allowing Voidlings to pass through units, they don't waste a lot of time getting stuck behind your own minions or in the enemy's minions which aren't afflicted with Malefic Visions.

Instead, when a Voidling comes up, it'll go straight to the enemy unit which is being attacked or has Malefic Visions on it.

I agree that he is already quite strong. I won't try to refute that point, but I don't think this change necessarily makes him that much stronger, just more consistent with regards to his uncontrollable AI Voidling.

The best counter-argument I can think of is that his pushing would become a bit stronger (when it was already strong) so his Voidling getting stuck behind minions is a feature that is kept in as a balancing nuance (kind of like how Vlad is silenced immediately after casting his ult). I won't call it a bug, but I will say it's a quirk which wasn't directly programmed for as far as I know.

If his pushing becomes a problem, I would suggest implementing this change while slightly reducing the movespeed of his Voidling. This way it can travel in a straight line and attack the afflicted target, but it takes a tiny bit longer to actually get there.

dude i just made a post a few hours ago about malz's voidlins being derpy. i suggest they give his passive an almost refresh button so them derps know what they are doing. many times i'd find myself watching them scratch the ground while i ult someone because they dont feel like moving. the going through minions isnt the issue, its the fact if you ult someone they might not react.

Let me start off by saying that I agree in principle, the Voidlings can be stupid at times. I've actually gotten stuck behind one more than once and that's annoying as hell.

Voidlings become pretty irrelevant after a while; they're fantastic for farming and getting good damage at early levels (Go ahead, block my visions- I dare you) but they become much less impacting at later levels unless you build AD Malz.

Speaking of which, AD Malz would become nothing short of murder.
