Why Riot Gutted Veigar (Not a rage post for once)

They started off with the change to his q. If this made veigar ridiculously strong, that would be really really really bad. Can you imagine a really strong veigar? That would be really freaking scary, so they made him weak, very weak in fact, so they can rebuild him from there, without making a ridiculously op champion. Because under powered is way way better then an way way way over powered. So thank you riot, please do what you usually do when you do this, and bring him back to semi viability
