Explain why her ult is a better version of Jarvans... and now he's gonna need buffs. Pretty sure Riot is just pumping out champs regardless of quality.

Also j4 ult and camille's ult are only similar on superficial level, which is like comparing tahm's Q to braum's Q because they both slow and apply a kind of stack

You obviously didn't play when the game was first out. There was a new champion every 2 weeks. Riot's current champion production pace is downright glacial comparatively.
Her ult can only catch one target but they can't escape unless she dies or leaves. It doesn't prevent allies from coming in.
J4's ult has all the limitations of terrain but can hit multiple people.

NO. Champions take on average nine months to complete and Riot USED TO release a champion every 2 weeks.

IDK, her wall-dash is pretty new.
And her passive implemented the completely new mechanic of a physical health shield.
In all honesty, with so many champions released, it's hard to do a new champion that is both innovative and not broken/unbalancable
I guess I don't get it. Does every new champ need a brand new gimmick now? She looks like a well-designed champ who is a bit more conventional than other recent releases. Why is that a problem?

you guys complain when they release a champ with all-new mechanics, and then you're upset when they make something that doesn't reinvent the wheel. she's pretty interesting as a heavy DPS champion, there's a good amount of stuff to play around. my only complaint is her ult or her W is out of place on her kit
Lore/Personality/Character Design, I like her. She is like a counterpart to Jhin, precise and to the point, only for the job, while Jhin is more "abstract", and murders just for fun.
Kit wise I hate it. Just boring things in already in the game. Q is legit just a auto reset that gives true dmg if you wait. W is probably the most interesting, but I only say that cause of the way its cast. E had so much potential to be a really cool ability, but its just a conditional wall dash. Ult is legit just (

Jarvan's ult traps multiple people inside of it, hers pushes enemy allies away. His has initial damage to everyone caught inside, hers doesn't. You can only use flash or some other type of mobility to get inside of J4's ult, enemies can just walk into hers after the initial cast. This is one of the shallowest comparisons I have ever seen. They do something SIMILAR, but they are NOT going to impact the fight in the same way.
Am I the only one who thinks calling her 'The Steel Shadow' is a bit generic and cliche? I mean, we already have:

I'm reminded of the debacle where they were going to call Mordekaiser the 'King of Death' before the community got them to change it to 'the Iron Revenant . They're just so uncreative with these titles it bores me to tears. But I guess 'shadow' sounds cool and edgy, amirite?

Not every new champion need to have complicated mechanics and i think is best to wait before making a judgement. When i first saw Jhin abilities i was disappointed and i thought he was a generic mixture of different champions but after playing him i realized how fun and different he really was. Camille has interesting mobility and a pretty unique ultimate.
I don't know I personally don't think riot is aiming to 'change' and add shit to the game with each release, I actually like a nice straightforward and simple champion for once. Not every new champion should have a new element in their kit imo, I think it's actually a smarter move to just introduce them slowly rather than to keep adding new mechanics to the game that may/may not be broken.

The community begged for a simpler champion, and Riot made one. You're now going to complain that she adds nothing to the game? She's a new champion, and she's refreshing to play. If you play complicated champions of course you're going to find Camille boring - she wasn't meant to be complex. Deal with it, is all I'm saying.
