I have been up and down plat 5 and plat 4 this season and it seems that silver players get thrown into games just to make queues faster. If riot didn't want silver and platinum players to queue up together, then why am i seeing them consistently in my games. The skill difference is immense and brings down a team. Why should i have to carry someone considerably worse at the game to prove i'm at my position?
Thats because the actual match making system targets silver accounts so they can't reach gold.... That means less free stuff to give away. Just try it : take a silver IV account and try to boost it to gold. I did it for 5 accounts last year, but there was 1 single account I couldn't go higher than silver II. Is it because I'm a bad player? No I did it with 5 other accounts. It's because the system intentionally matched me on that targeted account with monkeys or afkers or feeders being so bad at this game into normal players.

So these accounts you're encountering, it's Riot's shit matchmaking system that made them lost like 5% of the player base in season 8 already.

Lol you tanked your mmr like crazy, your average mmr in you games is like under 1650, that’s like below G2, there’s even some 1590-80s which is G3-5, they play with silvers, you u play with silvers. The reason why you haven’t been demoted is most likely you are winning, losing flip flopping, however your mmr is dropping just not your rank
