Dear RiotRepertoir, I have a mana question. Or any rioter, really.

So initially when I looked over the theoretical changes to everything, I was shocked. I'm not mad, it's just a little confusing. So my question is, are mages still going to get roughly the same amount of mana back through the new "regen" as the old per 5 system? A new way of getting mana sounds cool, but if total mana regained slows, then shouldn't laning get slower?
