How to get your mmr up?

What is the best way to get your mmr up- no trivial answers like winning games. It is really annoying that for wins in ranked I get 17 Lp and for losses I lose 20. Is it better to spam normals, play ranked, or a little of both?

Well, the only way is winning games, but the SAFEST way is to play unranked. Note, however, that increasing your MMR means that you will end up getting less LP since the game calculates, with better MMR than your opponents, whether you should have the skill advantage or not.

So then what is the best way to increase the Lp I get for wins and decrease the Lp for losses? Is there anything I can do, because right now when I go 3 and 3 in ranked games I lose 10 Lp total, and it is extremely frustrating to win, then lose, and be down Lp. Riot says that you should climb if your win rate is around 50 percent, but (even though mine isn't ) I just drop down if I go even.

Well, you need to decrease your MMR so... yeah that. The only way to do it is to win more games than losses until you reach a point to where you meet others of a similar MMR, upon which a 50% win rate will let you keep your spot and (maybe even) grow in rank. Basically, the only way to increase your LP gain is win till you break even or lose till the game thinks you are THAT bad. I would choose the first one.

If I remember right, how much LP you win/lose is determined by how well you do and how good the enemy team was. If you win against a team who's average mmr is slightly higher than your own teams, you get more LP. Things like k/d/a, towers destroyed, dragons/barons taken, damage dealt etc all contribute to how much you gain/lose LP. I could be wrong but it would make sense, wouldn't it?

I feel like i got better in blind pick, I had to learn to deal with the op champs instead of demand a ban and I get matched vs a wider range of players instead of people exactly at my level. Getting stomped by a masters duo and looking at my mistakes helps alot, playing vs goldies and capitalizing on their mistakes helps alot. You should forget MMR and just focus on getting better each game. Learn when you are in a stronger position. For example a D1 vayne tumbled into me and shot the cannon minion (greed), I was MF so i just dropped E and etc and she lost 80% of her health and my support finished her off.
