PLEASE FIX THIS

So I go into a normal game to practice morgana mid, we lose the game, Im not playing to my best because it was to me just a normal match, after we lose now I see I have lost 17 lp, im thinking WTF. Now I know some of you will say you missed clicked, but no I specifically backed out of ranked matckmaking went all the way back and clicked normal, this has happened to me before, but I just blamed myself thinking I just forgot to select normal, but now its the 3rd time atleast this has happened, I also remember reading before about this happening to other people, where they would get put in different game modes although they selected a different one. PLEASE PLEASE riot can you fix this issue, I would hate to think a person to lose thier promos because of this!!!!
