Lets talk about the new AD item changes.
Ok this is getting laughable and I don't see any major analysis posts about the new crit item changes and anyone talking about it is super worried that they are broken so lets go step by step analyzing the changes and talking about what people are so worked up about.
First lets talk about the really scary thing that everyone is afraid of.
First off lets note that the new IE has no built in crit chance, this is important because it means you have to get another crit item which inevitably ends up being one of these
because
wont have any crit anymore.
So the big worry is that this breaks
and
, so first off you have to actually compare how this works with live starting with Yasuo.
Everyone says that getting IE and Zeal will jump Yasuo up to 80% crit chance real easy, well first off it already works like that cause IE on live gives you 20% crit chance and Zeal also gives 20% crit chance which when doubled equals 80% so regardless of the patch Yasuo's 100% crit chance pattern remains the same. Overall this is a nerf cause IE no longer gives +50% crit damage and instead becomes a tank melting item which Yasuo already uses Conqueror and has built in armor pen for his ult. So this just means he melts squishies slower and doesn't really benefit a lot from trying to melt tanks when he already has tools to do so.
Tryndamere on the other hand is different, there is a cheese case in which Trynd can get IE and have 70% crit because he's the only champion in the game that gets crit chance for free, even Yasuo has to build crit items for crit chance. But once again IE doesn't give you that +50% crit damage when you buy it. On top of that for the IE rush to be reliable Trynd has to have full fury all the time and if he's at full fury all the time he still gets 65% crit chance from a Zeal item anyway so the difference isn't nearly as drastic as it seems.
IE has become a tank busting item that's better later in the game even on champions like Tryndamere and Yasuo, but the thing that is different is that ADC's like
etc. who build IE and Double Zeal's currently for crit builds will actually hit 120% crit chance where as on live they only hit 80% which means they will crit all the time with the new item changes.
Also lets note that
Also all had their prices increased, so everyone will be getting 100% crit chance a lot slower than you might think.
One to the next set of changes,
now has %total armor pen as opposed to %bonus armor pen as well as its respective upgrades though
loses
probably so that the combination of IE and Last Whisper doesn't decimate tanks nearly as hard as it's going to, also
is going down in price along with

Final note is that

are getting buffed in the defense department.
Now as for Stormrazor, I think it's an interesting item but it's not a perfect item, it would be great as an fight opening item on someone like
where you hit someone with a
teed crit and gain a ton of attack speed because of it. If anything I would probably get stormrazor before even considering IE, and would probably get it over IE in the case that there aren't any tanks on the enemy team cause IE wouldn't give enough bonuses against a team not stacking tons of armor, it gives you the big bang at the start and you gain a bunch of attack speed because of it, plus you would have zeal items for additional crit chance while you're not waiting to take a break for another 100% crit.
TL;DR Yasuo and Tryndamere aren't really changing in the crit chance department but have less crit damage for the cost of more gold. ADC's that build 3 crit items now will get 100% crit with only 3 items as opposed to needing a forth. Also once again less crit damage more gold. Tanks are going to get shredded from IE + Last Whisper items. Lifesteal and defensive items are buffed. Stormrazor over IE in the situation of squishy team comps.
