Because her W has almost 1000 range, she places it, backs off.. and thats it for laning phase. And if you try to engage as any meta mid laner, her E negates that.

her e does not negate any physical damage or physical spells it only blocks CC and magic damage

I player her alot (Level 7 - 86,111 Mastery Points) and there are many ways to stop her. Some also don't always build the same, like if she's not using Thunderlords you can go in on her a bit easier if she drops a W. Champs with good engage and knock up like the ones MrFawkn mentioned can be harder for her to deal with.

yeah she is pretty annoying to face mid.

(i have played her mid) all you do once you hit lvl 5 is walk out of turret range.. press W, watch it kill the entire wave if you place it properly.. walk back under turret and sip some more coffee. if they come to gank you.. put up your shield. if they tower dive you.. snare them for a kill. i do play Morgana mid sometimes, but i really only pick her when i have scouted my opponent is WAY better than me, or is on a major snowball champ and i am concerned about not feeding them. because frankly.. it is no fun to play AS the Morgana either when you do it

so yeah its pretty stupid.. but it is also REALLY boring AS the morgana too. she certainly is a good mid, but its so freaking boring (for both sides) that its rarely done
