Like the title says. What is your favorite "out of meta" pick?

I like playing a lot of out of meta picks for fun. Saw some post about Nami mid and that is one I like.

of course. Rylai's is an underrated but fantastic item on her, since her W bounces between allies and enemies. It speeds up every ally it hits and slows every enemy with this item. And with Liandry, they're going to be losing chunks every time. You also have a ton of HP with this build so you're a bit harder to kill than the average fish. Make sure to Max Q first you'll need it for waveclear.

Nami mid works best if you have a jungler who will gank for you a lot. You can almost guarantee a kill every time they gank for you if you're good at landing bubbles. Someone like Udyr is ideal, he can run in, and you make him run faster with E. Then you bubble them, he stuns them, and that's all she wrote. And you can send him back into the jungle with a nice W heal. Hope someone found this interesting/helpful!
apc, he works just as well as any other ranged champ and his ult is better in bot lane
jg. high sustain if you use fury right and great ganks with mobility, stun, and armor shred to help kill top laners
apc (need a good duo partner) get anyone with a nice stun to support you (morgana for example) and fizz wins bottom lane against any adc every time
support. Haven't used him myslef but have played against it and its annoying as hell
top. or any adc top. Often fares well against the mostly-melee tank meta you see top, just keep your distance
jungle, first clear is tough but after that your plants tank for you (but raptors still suck)
Snare, slow and a knock-up, anything you gank dies

jng is fun when i get the chance to play it! really enjoyable watchin the voidlings do the dirty work for me.

support back in season 4 when it was mainly assasin's
is a huge cockblock against hook champions like blitz/tresh/naut with a well placed ghoul (usually W)
outpokes poke botlanes
and outheals healing lanes. granted that you will need some mana pots.
however now that the tank/juggernaut meta is a thing it simply isn't very viable.

(I've included both Karthus and Yorick because while I play them at their common roles of mid and top laner respectively, they are very rarely played, so they are both out of meta.
adc. Works surprising well against Vayne. If she ults, you ult so you can see her while she is invisible. Then slap her with a gold card and boom, free kill.
I've played around 15 games of jungle and lost about 4. Before the nerfs to devoured it kicked unbelievable amounts of ass, now you have to build much more AD before being effective and it's synergy with devourer is pretty meh. It's still decently strong.

If I could actually compare him to Kindred for a second as a marksman jungler, I'd say he's better. Obviously not if kindred has absurd stacks , but his farming speed is SO much faster once you can actually clear, you farm about as fast as a master yi. Plus TF has really strong ganks with R and W compared to kindred with just E which is kinda meh. Sucks they had to nerf devourer for her and kick TF jungle in jungle in the balls

Mage Fortune Bot
I recently discovered that AP Lucian is actually not complete garbage and can be a ton of fun.
If you want something really trolling, try an On-Hit/Atk. Speed build for Bard. If you farm a ton of Charms the combination of his upgraded autos along with things like Wit's End and Frozen Mallet can be hilarious.
Jungle
It's what Amumu jungle would look like if his ult was on a 69 second cooldown.
I thoroughly enjoy either or support. It's so fun to just jump around doing some weird shit on Zac and to play support Brand

with her e and bf sword people are never prepared for how much she hurts. I get so many kills by taking people by surprise.
Jungle
I play Top ad 
Topraka for short. If done correctly you can force what the enemy thinks is going to be an easy 20 min victory into an unexpected banana fest going up to 60 minutes long. Seriously, every time I play soraka the game becomes so long because I carry so hard the rest of my team can't surrender.
Top Lane 
Don't knock it till you try it. The extra damage Braum does after stunning someone is stronger than most people think.
