Duelist are OP now..

Anyone else thinks all duelist champions are broken now ever since the new 5.22 patch. They have way to much sustain now and more damage output as well due to items and mastery.

Gonna need more context because as of right now it sounds like you're complaining about losing a duel to a duelist

No. I feel like I don't have potential to duel a duelist. They seems to out trade everytime.

No shit, that's what it means to be a duelist as opposed to a poke champion or a waveclear champion or a tank or whatever.

Ok. First of all, when a duelist is freezing a lane. You are forced to go in and duel in order to gain cs. Otherwise I will be sitting there gaining xp and losing gold while he is getting xp and gold. Because they have so much sustain and damage now, I cannot even cs due to the fact they out trade every time.

Basic toplane knowledge. But that does not only apply to duellists. It's especially powerful of a tactic with lanebullies such as Renekton for instance

If you can't CS and you can't fight them, then you should:

Ask your jungler and/or mid laner for assistance
Roam to other lanes and gank
Farm jungle camps until top shoves to tower (so that they can roam/buy)

And when your turret is gone, it is far easier to freeze on your side of the map.

Then your enemy laner has to overextend if they want to farm or kill you and your team may kill them more easily.

While this frees up your enemy laner to roam, your team can typically hold them off if they have a decent source of waveclear and you can try to farm back into the game.
