Lethality vs CRIT build for jhin this season?
Lately I've been building lethality on jhin. Duskblade, ghostblade ECT. But what is more viable? I've been doing very well with this build so far, just wanted some opinions. Thanks for you time

I'm a Jhin main and from my experience, lethality Jhin sucks. It bugs me when people continue to play it. Granted, lethality Jhin MIGHT be better in the first 20 minutes or so. Unless your team sucks or you have no idea what you're doing, you should not have already lost the game by this point. Crit Jhin out scales lethality Jhin. The longer the game goes on, the more likely crit Jhin will win. If you're losing, all you really have to do is stay on your toes and defend. Watch out for the 3-5 man ganks and you should be fine. Late game, I can two shot just about any squishy, and beat up any tank because I basically have a permanent speed boost from critting and every shot does about 1500 damage. I may just be a stubborn crit Jhin holdout, but I genuinely think crit Jhin can dish out a ton more damage.
My build: Essence Reaver, Berserkers Greaves, Rapid Fire Cannon, Infinity Edge, Bloodthirsters, Lord Dominiks Regards, sell Berserkers, buy phantom dancer, elixir of wrath
All in that order^^
Please don't play lethality Jhin...
This is horrible advice.
Its not. You can actually explain very easily why crit jhin scales better and has a way better late game: his passive.
That doesn't mean a fig when no one will ever let it get to lategame and Lethality is far better in early when crit is garbage in early.
If you would ignore the lethality hype for a second and just think about it yourself, you wouldn't say this.
Seriously we are talking about a champion that has great synergy with high AD items because he gets a percentgae bonus on all AD. You also get even more percentage bonus for building crit and attack speed.
If you think Lethality is a must buy and there is no alternative you are literally completely disregarding the champions kit with synergies and just promoting Lethality for the sake of doing so.
I understand that Lethality items have some unique effects that can be usefull, so thats a real reason why you could prefer them. Spellshield, Movement Speed, spotting wards, and a ton of movement speed out of combat. They also have an easier build path...stacking longswords for days.
But lethality does not give you that much more damage, this is just delusional. Keep in mind that we are talking about a nefed version of flat armor pen. Lethality is not the "you deal the highest damage with this, even if you don't understand what it actually does" stat. There is simple math behind it.
Maybe with 1-2 items its slightly better but not by a huge amount. Really just a tiny amount and ONLY in early to mid game.
Until they change Lethality, it will be superior overall to the other builds. After 3 items, you're dealing true damage to every squishy and ignoring over half of the armor of bruisers and most junglers. All you have to do to remedy yourself against tanks is pick up Dom's or Mortal Reminder, and you're set.
Lethality if they have tanks Crits if they're all squishy
Other way around lol
no, . . .not at all
The key when it comes to dealing with tanks is having the % armor pen from last whisper and last whisper simply works better with the crit build that scales much better. Crit per se isnt better against tanks but you use it with last whisper and thats why.
Lethality is butloads stronger,
Based on the pro scene, it's apparently a bastardization. They have ghost Blade and EoN, along with IE and Rapid fire cannon.
I've always done the race car build, even when armour pen was the edgy thing. Being able to run super fast on an otherwise immobile ADC is godsend.
Ghostblade Edge of Night Duskblade Lord Dominik's Regards/Mortal Reminder
More or less in that order. Good for deleting squishies in early, but bad against multi-tank enemy teams somewhat.
You need to go full crit when they have some tanks and when they dont have some tanks go lethality and enjoy oneshoting :)
