Hey Rioto, was wondering how the cost of IP champs work. I know that new champs are usually the 6300 IP price which is understandable. Just wondering when older 6300 champs ( Kha, Liss, Syndya etc.) prices will go down or if they will ever. Thanks!
At every champion release the oldest 6300 champ will be decreased to 4800 (for Illaoi, its Hecarim). In addition, every 3rd champion release, a random 1350-4800 champ will be lowered one tier, to 450-3150 respectively.
Yes they have occasional price decreases. Warwick used to be 1350 but now he's 450. Same with Garen. Gangplank went from 4800 to 3150 I don't know when, and there are many others that have decreased a tier in price. Typically they will decrease it once a year (every 4 champions released, to my knowledge).
